The Kiwanis Club of Perth makes quarterly donations of $250 to organisations or services who are supporting children’s literacy and health. In 2024, the club successfully launched it’s first People’s Choice vote profiling three worthy organisations. We also make other monetary donations throughout the year as approved by our committee. Schools can benefit from the funding of our literacy programs, as well as school bursaries. We also welcome partnerships with other organisations for events or projects which may involve financial donations or volunteer hours of service.
Here are our most recent beneficiaries are:
HeartKids – $250 donation as part of the Grants program
Noranda Primary School and Redcliffe Primary School – funding literacy awards.
The lifecycle of our donations

Book donations become book sales which fund literacy programs.
Spectacle donations are rehomed or recycled by optometrists.
Bottle and can donations become cash donations to our club and the materials are recycled.
