We’re seeking a creative person with a community service soul to help us promote our Kiwanis Club of Perth activities. Our focus is fundraising to support children’s literacy and health, and we also rehome books and recylce items to help the environment.
Preferably you will have experience in creating Facebook and Instagram promotions, and creating designs using Canva – or at least a keen interest to learn how to do so. You will be happy working in a team or independently. Other volunteers will also provide you content – so you won’t be doing this alone.
You will be part of promotion planning and able to schedule at least one post per week on each channel. You will also be comfortable taking photos and video, and understand the importance of copyright requirements and permissions, or be willing to learn.
Would suit: People seeking a volunteer role to give back to the community or to gain work experience.
Commitment: Around 2-4 hours per week, including monthly committee meetings.
Must be: 18 years or older, willing to become a Kiwanis Club of Perth Friend (a volunteer with no membership fee), and get a WA Police Clearance (we provide the form and cover the fee).
Club Meetings and Bookshop Location: Roxy Lane Theatre, Maylands unless specified otherwise.
Please do Contact Us using the form or email us at: [email protected]. You’re also very welcome to come into the bookshop for a chat. The Kiwanis Charity Bookshop is a pop-up shop open Fridays and Saturdays, 10am – 1.30pm, inside the Roxy Lane Theatre at 55 Ninth Avenue, Maylands. We’d like to meet you.
