We’re seeking a creative person with a community service soul to help us promote our Kiwanis Club of Perth activities. Our focus is fundraising to support children’s literacy and health, and we also rehome books and recycle items to help the environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the current website using WordPress to ensure optimal performance and a positive user experience.
Ensure the website is user-friendly, mobile-responsive, and accessible to all users.
Collaborate with team members to create and implement web content that supports ongoing campaigns and initiatives.
Regularly update and maintain website content, including text, images, and videos.
Attend monthly meetings to discuss progress and strategies.
Location: Maylands, virtual, depending on requirements Purpose: Ensure the website remains vibrant and interactive, attracting frequent visitors while maintaining proper technical functionality and security. Reporting: Executive committee Commitment: Two years of service as a member of the Kiwanis Club of Perth Inc., Flexible hours. Qualifications: A strong understanding of web technologies. Training and support: Kiwanis orientation, Kiwanis International (KI) online specific learning modules, and the KI Youth Protection Module.
Reimbursements: Any checks required are reimbursed by the Club.
Would suit: Individuals looking for volunteer opportunities to contribute to the community or gain work experience.
Club Meetings and Bookshop Location: Roxy Lane Theatre, Maylands, unless specified otherwise.
